Elevator Pitch No. 3

After reading the feedback from my second elevator pitch, it seemed that my peers thought that I did a great job improving my pitch. They said that I did a great job of keeping my audience engaged and did a great job of getting my points across. Despite all of the positive feedback, I was told that I need to work on closing out my elevator pitch. I did a great job on the pitch until the very end where I had a slight problem closing out with a little stumble since I didn’t know what to say.

Based on my feedback, I improved the flow of my pitch. I made sure to finish strong and keep the audience engaged the whole time. I made sure that I kept doing my hand motions like I had been doing in the previous pitches and made sure to connect with the audience. I feel as though I did a good job with this pitch with how I incorporated all of the feedback I received and continuing to use my style that people seemed to like a lot.

  1. Hi Nathan,
I loved your elevator pitch. You definitely did not memorize your pitch, you spoke from the top of your head which I think is great because that's what was meant of the assignment. It will be useful to you when you actually have to give a real pitch to someone in person, you can use what you've learned/ performed. It was also very personal and resonates with students at the University of Florida campus. I do think to improve, you should be a little bit more direct with explaining what and how your business idea will work. Otherwise, great job!

  2. Hey Nathan you did a great job on this elevator pitch and I can see the total improvement you made since the first elevator pitch. You did a great job this time by getting straight into the point and you got the person watching the video very interested. Nice work man and keep up the good work because your improvement was definitely clear in this pitch.

  3. Hey Nathan. I thought your pitch was very good overall, and you definitely have a great business idea. You seemed very composed and spoke in a conversational manner that made it seem like you didn't memorize the pitch. This aspect makes it flow better and sound more natural. I can definitely see a lot of improvement and you becoming more comfortable with your pitch. If I were to point out anything to improve, I would just say make sure to keep eye contact steady and keep your speaking rate at an understandable level. Great job!
