Not bad. I have a scooter so I can go
where ever I need to on the weekends since it seems like everything is closed.

do you feel that the restaurants are closed or have limited hours on weekends?
o
I think they are like that because people
that live off campus do not come into campus during the weekends for many
things.

Yes.

It hasn’t been all that bad. People in my
house have scooters or cars and I usually go with them to get food on the
weekends.

do you feel that the restaurants are closed or have limited hours on weekends?

I think it is because there aren’t many
people that want to eat on campus on the weekends because it is either a far
walk or not a great place to eat.

I don’t know much about it because I
always go off campus on the weekends since I have a car at the house.

I think it is because they don’t have
enough people coming into campus to be open for the whole weekend and have to
shorten their hours or close down for the weekend entirely.

Yes.

has your experience been with eating on campus on the weekends?

Not too bad because I get up early so most
of the places that I would want to eat at are all open.

do you feel that the restaurants are closed or have limited hours on weekends?
o
Probably because most off-campus students
and students with transportation don’t need to go on campus during the weekend,
and that’s why there aren’t that many people looking for food on the weekends.

Yes.

has your experience been with eating on campus on the weekends?

It has not been too bad because I choose
to go off campus for meals on weekends since I have a scooter that can take me
where ever I need to go.

Probably because there are no classes and the
restaurants just assume that there will be limited people on campus during the
weekends.

ReplyDeleteI love your plan on wanting to extend the hours of the food places on campus. Mainly on the weekends is when I see the problem the most. There are only so many places open and even some of the dining halls aren't even open that late on the weekends. Also on weekdays I agree with you that the hours should be extended because all of us are tired of eating the same things on daily. Nice Work!
Hi Nathan, although I do not live on campus, or in Gainesville for that matter, I believe that this is a great idea. Restaurants on campus should be able to provide food to students on weekends. Maybe they can even use students as the workers for weekends which would help some students pay for whatever they need while also providing food and making more sales on campus.
